Shoebury Conservatives have welcomed the news that Shoebury Police have backed the 350,000 East Beach improvements.
Inspector Jeff Appleby told the Southend Echo that
"It is pleasing to see money being spent on East Beach and I would welcome any improvements to the layout which will help to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.
"It is important that we make this special area safer and more usable, whilw enhancing it's natural environmental."
