A document has been forwarded to Shoebury Conservatives where Shoeburyness Ward councillor Mike Assenheim describes 2010 Shoeburyness Ward Independent Party candidate Anne Chalk as being disasterous in the past and a 'loose cannon'.

Commenting on the revelations Shoeburyness Ward councillor Roger Hadley, who will be taking on Anne Chalk in Shoeburyness at the 2010 local elections commented:
"I know there has been some infighting with the Independent Party in Shoeburyness recently but it seems it has turned to open warfare.
"Only this month a newsletter from Mike Assenheim was delivered to Shoeburyness ward residents introducing her to the ward.
