
Shoebury Conservatives ar today urging local residents not to miss out on their chance to vote in this year's European Elections.
On Thursday 4th June Shoebury electors will be able to vote for people to represent them in the European Parliament.
The European Parliament represents residents of the 27 member countries. It has powers in many areas including animal rights, consumer rights and international trade.
Polling stations open from 7am - 10pm.
The last day to register as an elector is Tuesday 19th May. The last day to register for a Postal Vote is also Tuesday 19th May.
You can arrange for (a proxy) somebody to vote on your behalf if you are incapacitated or can not make it to the polling station. The last date to register for a proxy vote is the 27th May.
All eligable voters will receive a voting card telling them where their nearest polling station is although you do not need a voting card to go and vote.
